Tampa, March 2012 - Volunteer Ministers of the Church of Scientology of Tampa participated in the 65th annual Fiesta Day Celebration in Ybor City, Florida, a historic neighborhood in Tampa northeast of downtown.

Seventh Avenue was closed to traffic and booths and kiosks lined both sides of the street.

Volunteer Ministers pitched their bright yellow tent and helped visitors throughout the day with life situations ranging from relationships to learning problems to workplace difficulties, using information from the Scientology Handbook, practical technology to empower anyone to improve conditions in their own life. They also provided Scientology assists—simple techniques developed by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard that speed recovery from illness, injury, stress and trauma.

The street festival, held February 25 this year, celebrates the cuisine, culture and heritage of Ybor City. Founded by Vicente Martinez-Ybor as a cigar manufacturing center. Ybor City today is one of only two National Historic Landmark Districts in Florida.
